Paolo Nutini's set started and I pretty much instantly knew that it wouldn't really be my thing. There were aspects to the band that I really enjoyed, like how they were a sort of Blues Brothers style of blues, or how they were kind of folky. It wasn't that they sounded like the Blues Brothers, because I would have freaking adored that, but it was more that they were clearly influenced by the style of blue the BB paid tribute to. I would have to say I would call their sound Jam Band Folk Blues, but really that's just an amalgamation of the terms that were floating around in my mind as I watched and listened to their performance. One of the bands that played this weekend that was very clearly a talented group of spirited people doing what they love, and I respect that to the end.
