Possibly the sexiest and most heart warming performance of either day, India.Arie, I can safely say, is one hell of a woman. At one point she freaking pulled out her weave and threw it on the ground, never missing a beat. Damn. What a woman. Her voice, immaculate. Her presence, undeniable. Her lyrics, unbelievably touching. Everything about her performance was absolutely perfect, from her back up singers, to her drummer, to the guitar player, etc. India.Arie was probably one of the most soulful performers of the weekend, but it doesn't hurt when you perform Gospel style old school R&B type songs. At one point she dedicated a song to all the men in the audience, stating that she was happy to see men giving a women's point of view a listen, and that it was beautiful that they had such open minds when others aren't that way. Anything for you India.
