Monolith was Bad Ass. But that ought to be obvious. So I'm just going to burst into live picture-re-caps + blurbs.
The festival opener was a band I'd never heard of before this festival by the name of the Generationals. A quaint little twee-ish ensemble that adorabled it's way into my heart. For reals, it was the sweetest thing all festival. Think the Sprites or the original Barcelona kind of twee. I got a chance to gab a bit with one of the members, nothing official or anything, but more on that later.
