I'd seen Gregory Alan Isakov at the Mile High Music Festival, and I have to say that I much preferred his performance this time around. It may be that I felt better about there being more people to witness his stunning songwriting skills, but whatever it was, the group was far more spirited and thus more engaging that I think I've ever seen them. Plus they got to play Mainstage this time. Put down as a "win" on your white board of success, Mr. Isakov.
